San Sebastian at War Tour
On this guided tour you will learn about the history of San Sebastian through the wars and conflicts that the city has suffered throughout its history, from the Middle Ages to the present day. All this with a marked historical rigour, but without forgetting that the aim is to learn about the history of the city in the most entertaining and playful way possible.
To do so, we will visit different fundamental points of the Old Town, Mount Urgull and the Centre, where we will find the keys to understanding the evolution of the city throughout history as a result of different armed conflicts.
The Spanish War of Independence of 1813, the Carlist Wars or the Spanish Civil War are some of the conflicts that we will relive in this war tour throughout San Sebastian, where nowadays we can visit buildings, monuments and little whereabouts that maintain the essence and the memory of what happened.
