Albaolabike self-guided tour
You will learn about the influence that the sea has had on the society and economy of the Basque people, as well as its history, culture and illustrious seafarers. All this, thanks to the self-guided tour that will take you from San Sebastian to the port of Pasajes, where you will find Albaola Basque Sea Factory, a living museum where a Basque whaling ship is being built in the traditional way.
A unique opportunity to discover an industry that has taken the Basques as far afield as Iceland and Canada, and which we still keep alive today in many of our traditions.
Recommendations
You need to be able to ride a bike and be between 1.50 (4’11”) and 1.90 metres (6’3”) tall to ride the bikes comfortably.
Footwear and clothing suitable for cycling and the weather are RECOMMENDED.
