The bicycles are an essential part of Go Local. With them we daily visit the different districts of Donosti rain or shine in our Bike Tour. And of course, to do these experiences we need trusting bikes. That’s why we go with Orbea bikes.
Orbea has a curious story. It started making weapons in the gunmaking town of Eibar, though in the 30s it went on making (among other things) bikes, and in the 70s it moved to the close town of Mallabia after integrating in the Mondragon Cooperative Corporation.
Since then it has hard-earned a place as one of the main bike manufacturing companies in the world. It also sponsors all kinds of cycling events, and the promotion of this sport so rooted in the Basque Country.
Hegoi has been a local guide in Go Local San Sebastian for almost 10 years. A local among tourists, who loves his profession and enjoys showing his hometown. He also plays a key role in the teams of Free Walking Tour and Bike Rental.
