Donostia Festibala

For some years the cultural agenda in Donostia is in best shape than ever, with a varied offer that extends throughout the year. We have film festivals, very interesting exhibitions in San Telmo… and the Donostia Festibala showing its muscles from the Donostia racetrack.

We are talking about a local display of talent that is one of the endings to the summer, and that during two days attracts important talents of alternative music (this year Mala Rodríguez, Gatibu or Carolina Durante to name a few) to our city. If the line-up wasn’t attractive enough, the festival organizes the concerts from 6 pm, and kids under 11 years old get in for free, great plan with the family!

It is also a great excuse to visit Zubieta, which is very close to Lasarte, one of surroundig towns of San Sebastian, and its racetrack, which was open in 1916, and is part of the legacy of the elite tourism that once Donostia had. It can be a bit far from La Concha, the Casino or the romantic neighbourhood, but it is equally glamorous, and still active.
